Graduating from college left me unsure yet excited about the freedom of painting what I wanted and when I wanted.I immediately joined with a group of artists and began a open forum studio in an old mill in Fall River. This experience opened my eyes to graffiti and the power of large, expressionistic works.Creating, sharing, and developeing along side like minded artists opened my views to what I feel is the next level to expressionistic working.I drew great inspiration in the orphaned spray strokes left behind on the walls from worked over canvas.I see a new form of abstract expressionism through the medium of spray paint.
This use of lawless, expressionism painting fused with elements of graffiti, stencils and street art are what fuel my creative spirit and helped culminate my views of what art should be.
